During high Solana network congestion, Limit Orders might take more than a single attempt to execute. By no means is it a guarantee that limit order will hit efficiently as Solana is still in Beta and our systems are constantly being improved to facilitate best experience.

You can set Stop-Loss or Take-Profit orders by clicking the "Limit Orders" button during position opening stage or alternatively you can add it to an already open position by clicking it and interacting with with the newly opened "Limit Order" panel . LL will put a "Lower Limit" order which is below the current price, while UL will put an "Upper Limit" order which is above current price.

  • A Lower Limit (LL) helps limit your losses or realise gains by closing your position when the specified price is reached. This limit order is placed below the "UL" order.

  • A Upper Limit (UL) helps limit your losses or realise gains by closing your position when the specified price is reached. This limit order is placed above the "LL" order.

Above is an example of SOL/USDC . Liquidation price point is 229$ and stop loss/Lower Limit is set at 230$. Such a limit order is deemed risky during high volatility as price can fluctuate and punch right through both limit order and liquidation price point.

It is best not to set limit orders close to liquidation price points. We cannot guarantee limit orders hitting in time. Users can experience a liquidation.

Once LL/UL order is created, it will appear under the "Opened positions" table. You may need to add it to manually to be displayed through our column filter. From there, you can adjust the trigger price if needed. LL/UL orders automatically execute and return the native asset of your position, such as BTC for BTC longs or USDC for ETH shorts. Currently, only full position closures are supported.

When a position is closed—whether manually or through an LL/UL order—all associated LL/UL orders for that position will be cancelled. Our protocol currently charges 0.05% for any hit LL/UL.

Limit Orders Swap

To enhance risk management and provide users with greater flexibility, we’ve introduced a feature allowing users to select the specific token their position will be swapped into upon the execution of a limit order. This ensures a predictable and customizable outcome.
